Our Donations tools allow you to track donors, log donations, and manage tax receipts quickly and easily. When you use cumulative receipting in Keela, there are a few things to keep in mind.
Online vs. Manual Cumulative Tax Receipting
In Keela, you have two different options when it comes to cumulative tax receipting.
Manual cumulative tax receipting
This type of cumulative receipting happens in-app via Keela, at the discretion of Keela users. You can batch any monetary donations into a cumulative receipt, provided that they do not have an existing receipt and span only one calendar year. You can include one-time and recurring donations that fit this criteria.

Online cumulative tax receipting
This type of cumulative receipting is organization-enabled and donor-selected. It applies only when a donor creates a new recurring donation through an organization's donation or campaign page and opts-in to receive a year-end cumulative receipt for money received on a recurring donation during a calendar year.
If a recurring donor choose to donate on a regular, recurring basis for more than a year, tax receipts will be issued each year for donations received between January and December.
Online cumulative tax receipting is only available for recurring donations made online.
