Preparing to Sync from Keela to QuickBooks
We recommend taking the following steps before you run your first sync, or any time after you make major changes to your contact database (such as importing contacts from a new source).
Run a duplicate check of your CRM records in Keela
Duplicate checking ensures that your contacts and their records are organized properly and helps ensure that the import into QuickBooks Online is clean.
We recommend performing a duplicate contact check before you sync to help ensure that you only have one contact record in Keela for all donations made by an individual.
Check your transactions and customer profiles in QuickBooks
Reviewing your transactions in QuickBooks prior to syncing can help ensure that you don't duplicate any records you already have and reduce the amount of time spent later reconciling records.
We also suggest reviewing your customer and donor profiles. If there are duplicate customer or donor profiles in QuickBooks, it can cause confusion for our system and information may be pushed to the wrong profile.
