We know how valuable statistics and data can be in decision-making, but it can be difficult to visualize what your numbers mean. That's why Keela has a Reports tool that allows you to draw out summary statistics, or "big numbers", from your Smart Lists and represent that information using graphs and charts.
Our Reports tool allows you to gain deeper insight into the contacts who make up your Smart Lists and to create informative summaries on key information about your contact group.
Reports allow you to dive deeper into the Smart Lists that you build to explore patterns, changes, and the overall picture.
For example, you can build a Smart List for all your contacts who are recurring donors and add a filter to find the donors who have donated $100 dollars or more. If you want to find out more about those donors -- where they’re from; what campaigns or impact areas they donated to -- you can create a Report that breaks down information about their affiliations, donation practices, and even volunteer history.
A report is made up of four different components:
1. Big Numbers
The Big Numbers appear at the top of your report. They display some of the most commonly used statistics, such as total count, averages, and minimum maximum amounts.
These figures give you a quick glimpse of the statistics for your Smart List.
2. Data Visualization
Your data is visualized under your Big Numbers using line and dot graphs, scatterplots, column graphs, or pie charts, depending on the report you select.
This visualization can be exported in a few different formats for use in reports, other documents, or anywhere you need.
Metadata is the information about the specific pieces of information that your Report has used to create itself. This could be the individual donations made by contacts, or the people who live in a specific city.
You can find this information by clicking on a data point, pie slice, or column in one of your graphs or charts. This will open a table or screen with information specific to that piece of information.
4. Data Table
The data table appears at the bottom of the report. It displays information on the categories used to segment the contacts in your Smart List.
