E-blasts offer an easy way to send and manage group emails, newsletters, and fundraising campaigns. When you use e-blasts to let your contacts know about your organization, you can track your email communication, see how successful your message was, and better target your current and future messages.
You can always find the page for your e-blast from the Campaigns screen, accessed from the left sidebar on your screen. For a list of all your e-blasts, you can click on the E-blasts tab under the Campaigns title bar from the main Campaigns screen, or open the e-blasts specific to a campaign, by selecting the campaign you want from the Campaigns list and clicking the E-blasts tab under the title bar.
Each e-blast is made up of the following parts:
The message body, found under the Email Body heading, shows you what your e-blast looks like. It contains your organization's contact information, your email message, and details on your project, program, campaign, or other initiative or event. You can also insert a button with a link to a donation or membership form.
Above the Email Body are a number of headings that contain information on the sender's email address, recipients, date sent, email subject, and the associated campaign. You can also change when and how you send and manage your contacts from these sections.
After you schedule and send an e-blast, Keela tracks the percentage of emails that were delivered and opened, the percentage of readers who clicked a link from the email, and the number of emails that were unopened and rejected. This section also provides information on the number of contacts who unsubscribed and the donation amount raised as a result of the e-blast.
