We know how important it is to be able to communicate with your contacts quickly, so we've made it easy to create templates for your e-blasts.
Our E-blasts tool lets you set up custom templates and create e-blasts, as well as track the delivery and reach of your e-blast. When you use this tool, you can reduce the amount of time you spend creating e-blasts and get your message out quicker and more efficiently.
The Templates for your e-blasts are always accessible from the Campaigns screen in the third tab under the Templates title bar.
When you click on the Templates tab, you'll open up a list of your templates. From here, you can add new templates, edit existing ones, and search through your built templates.
Creating a Template from an Existing E-blast
The quickest way to create an e-blast template is to turn an existing e-blast into a template. If you have a commonly used e-blast, you can save time on your future messages by creating a template based on that e-blast.
1. Open an e-blast
To create a template based on an existing e-blast, you can use an e-blast from the E-blasts tab of Campaigns or navigate to a specific campaign's e-blasts.
a) Open your E-blasts list
From the main Campaigns screen, click on the E-blasts tab under the Campaigns title bar to open a list of all your e-blasts.
b) Open your campaign e-blasts
From the main Campaigns screen, click to open the campaign you want. Click on the E-blasts tab under the Campaigns title bar to open a list of the e-blasts for that campaign.
2. Turn the e-blast into a template
To create a template based on an existing e-blast, click on the gear icon to the right of the e-blast subject title and select "Save as Template".
Type in a name for the template and click the "Save" button to create a new template based on your e-blast.
Creating a New E-blast Template
Keela makes it as easy as possible to create an e-blast template with only a few clicks.
1. Create a new template
From your Campaigns main screen, click on the Templates tab under the Campaigns title bar. To create a new template, click on the "+ Template" button at the top left of the screen.
2. Name your template
Select a name for your e-blast template and enter it in the Template name field. Click the "Add" button at the bottom right of the screen to add the template.
3. Choose a template style
After adding a template, you will have the choice to customize its appearance. You can select from Personal Templates, which are ones that you have saved, or from one of our Default Templates.
You can build off an existing template or start from a blank template.
If you want to preview the template before selecting it, click the "Preview" button when you select a template.
This article will go through all the steps for creating a new template, so we'll be using the blank template. To follow along, select the blank template and click on the "Select" button.
4. Add and customize content sections
The blank template only comes with a starting header. Find out how to build and customize the sections of your e-blast.
5. Complete your template
You can preview your template before you finish your template by clicking the "Preview" button at the bottom right of the screen.
When you are ready to save your template, click the "Finish" button at the bottom right of the screen.
