We know how important it is to be able to communicate with your contacts and let them know about fundraising, volunteer, and other types of campaigns. That's why we've made it easy and simple to create a new Campaign with the click of a button.
Our Campaigns features let you create campaigns, manage e-blasts, and keep track of your progress towards your donation and volunteer goals. When you use these tools, you can stay organized and make sure your next campaign is accessible and effective.
Hint: If you're not sure what a Campaign is, check out our What is a Campaign article here.
Creating a Campaign
Click on Campaigns in the sidebar > Click on the orange add Campaign button
A pop-up window will appear that will allow you to provide some details for your Campaign.
(1) Campaign Name
This is the name of your Campaign. This should be short and concise and easy to identify for other team members at your Organization.
(2) Campaign Description
What is your Campaign about? What are you hoping to achieve? Sum it up in a couple of sentences here! This is completely optional, of course.
Note: If you choose to display your Campaign details on any Donation Forms, this information will appear.
(3) Campaign Goal
If your Campaign is focused on raising funds, you can put your financial target here. This figure will be used by Keela to help you track your progress! This is optional - if your Campaign is being used to track communications or volunteer hours you don't need to set a target.
(4) Make your campaign public... tick box
Ticking this box will allow you to display a fundraising thermometer for this Campaign on any Donation Forms that you link to it. Donors who view your donation form (whether you've embedded it in your website or shared it via an E-blast) will be able to see your Campaign Goal and your current percentage.
(5) Add additional members of your team
Are there other team members in your Keela account who you would like to be able to work on this? Link them here! You can search for them names by clicking on the field and selecting them from the drop-down list.
Hint: If you need to make any changes to the above information in the future, head over to our How to Edit a Campaign article to find out how.
