At this point, you should have already integrated MailChimp with Keela. Before moving forward, it's important that we distinguish the difference between a MailChimp Campaign and a Keela Campaign.
In MailChimp, a 'Campaign' is the equivalent of an 'E-blast' within Keela.
In Keela, a 'Campaign' is essentially the umbrella that houses all related 'E-blasts'. For example, a Golf Tournament could be your 'Campaign', and all mass email communication regarding this Golf Tournament would be considered your 'E-blasts'.
Now that we've cleared that up, let's get your MailChimp Campaigns into Keela using one of two options.
Import Directly from Organization Settings
Within Organization Settings, you’ll want to head within the ‘Integrations’ tab. Here, you’ll notice several widgets - one for each integration offered by Keela. In the top-left widget, you’ll find the MailChimp integration, with the option to ‘Import e-blasts’.
Selecting this option will bring about a pop-up box, showing all sent Campaign Lists from MailChimp with the ability to ‘Import’ (to the right of each List).
Import from within the Campaigns tool
Within the Campaigns tool, you’ll notice (in the top-right corner) a '+' icon. Select this icon to bring about a pop-up, listing all existing, sent Campaign Lists from MailChimp. To the right of each, you’ll notice an option to ‘Import’. This Campaign List will now appear in the E-blasts tab.
I'm having trouble importing. What do I do?
If you're trying to import too much information into Keela, you may have difficulty importing successfully if the number of contacts being added from your MailChimp campaigns exceeds what is allowable through your current subscription plan.
