MailChimp is a web-based email marketing service, that allows you to design email newsletters, integrate with services you might already use, as well as track your results.
About the Integration
By connecting your MailChimp account with Keela, you’ll be able to:
Seamlessly transfer all MailChimp contacts to your Keela database
If a MailChimp contact already exists within Keela, they will not be added twice
Rather, the appropriate Tag will be applied to your contact (see below)
Import all MailChimp Lists as Tags into Keela
View all the statistics of your MailChimp newsletters in Keela
Automatically update the First Name, Last Name, Email Address, and Subscription status, when a change to one of these data fields is made on either platform
Connect Your MailChimp Account to Keela
To integrate with MailChimp, begin by heading to ‘Organization Settings’, found by clicking on the organization name in the top-right corner of Keela.
Next, you’ll want to select the 'Integrations' tab. Once within this tab, you should notice the MailChimp widget, with the option to ‘Connect with MailChimp’. Click this button to automatically open a new tab, where you will be redirected to login.MailChimp.com.
Here, you will be prompted to enter your MailChimp username and password. After successfully entering this information, you will be led back to Keela, and a message will appear that states, ‘Your organization is connected to MailChimp’.
After connecting to MailChimp, Keela will start syncing your contacts. Note that depending on the number of contacts, completing this process can take up to an hour, so be sure to check back in a bit if you don't see your contacts in Keela right away.
Once the initial sync is complete, Keela will update any contacts which are new, updated or deleted in MailChimp within a few minutes.
