We know how important it is to be able to record and track membership plans that your contacts subscribe to. That's why we've made it easy to record and manage memberships within your Contacts.
Our Memberships tool lets you add membership records and manage individual membership subscriptions quickly. When you use this tool, you can keep your contacts' membership information organized and keep track of who your plan members are.
Recording a Membership Subscription
Keela makes it as easy to manually record a membership subscription with a few clicks.
Add a Membership
Click on Contacts in the left sidebar of your screen and select the contact for which you want to add a membership. Open the Memberships tab under the Contacts title bar.
From the Memberships tab of your contact, click on the "+ Membership" or "Add membership" button to open the Add Membership screen.
Select a Membership Plan
Select the membership plan that was made from the Donation type option menu.
There is a default General Membership plan available, but you can also add a new plan or select one that has already been set up.
Add Start and End Dates
Indicate the start and end dates of the subscription in the Start Date and End Date fields.
Create a New Membership Subscription
Once you have entered in the membership plan information for that contact, you have two options.
A) If payment was made and processed, click the "Save" button to add the membership to the contact.
B) If the payment needs to be added, click the "Save & Add Payment" button to save the record and add payment information. In the Add Membership Payment screen, enter in the amount paid, currency of payment, payment method, and payment date in their respective fields. Enter the end date of the subscription in the Extend Membership field to indicate how long the membership will be effective. To issue a receipt, click the "+ Receipt" button to upload an existing receipt from your computer or a URL; or generate a receipt. Click the "Add" button to complete the process.
Now you're all done!
