We know that the groups your contacts are related to will change over time, and those groups sometimes cease to exist, so we've made it easy to delete tags.
Our Tags tool lets you group and manage contacts easily, as well as remove tags and their contacts quickly. When you use this tool, you can stay organized and manage your contact list with a few clicks.
Delete an Existing Tag
Keela makes it as easy as possible to delete a new tag with only a few clicks.
There are a few different places from which you can remove an existing Tag:
A) Navigate to the Tags screen, via the Contacts tool in the left sidebar. Click the action button to the right of the Tag you wish to remove, and select "Delete".
B) Navigate to the Tags screen, and check the boxes next to the tag(s) you wish to remove. Next, select the "Edit Selected" button that appears and select "Delete Tags".
C) Navigate to the Tags screen, and click on the name of the tag you wish to remove. You will see a list of all contacts that belong to that specific Tag. Here, click on the gear icon to the top-right of the screen, and select "Delete Tag".
Deleting Contacts within a Tag
If you need to delete the contacts within a tag, you can do that, too.
Navigate to a specific Tag to open a list of all its contacts. Select the gear icon in the top-right corner.
Instead of selecting "Delete Tag", which would simply remove the Tag from Keela, click the "Delete Contacts within Tag" to keep the Tag but remove the data on the contacts from Keela.
Important: This is irreversible, so be careful when selecting this option.
