We know how important it is to be able to collect the information you need from your contacts. While we've included the most common types of information fields in our Contacts tool, you may need to collect and manage information that doesn't currently have a field in our contact profile.
Our Custom Fields tool lets you create as many custom fields as you need. With a few clicks, you can add these fields to the default contact profile and collect and record that information quickly and easily.

Adding a Custom Field to your Contacts
You can access Custom Fields from any of your contacts.
Open a Contact Profile
Navigate to the Contacts screen and select the profile for the contact that you want to edit.
Scroll down to the bottom of the profile until you see the "Custom Fields" heading.
Edit Custom Fields
Click on the "Edit" button to the right of the Custom Fields heading bar.
This will open the Manage CRM Custom Fields screen, where you will see a list of any existing custom fields, as well as options to create a new field.
Name your Custom Field
Under "New Field", type in the name of your new custom field. This could be a statement, a few words, or a question -- anything to help identify the type of information you wish to record.
Choose a Field Type
Under "Field Type", select a field type for your custom field. The type that you choose will depend on what information you want to record.
Under "Selectable Options", write in and add options for your custom field.
Multiple and single select are the only field types with write-in options. Number, date and time, yes/no, and text do not have customizable options.
Finish Creating the Custom Field
When you are done, click the "+ Add" button to add your new custom field to all of your contacts.
Quick Tip: You can also create custom fields during contact import by selecting --Add Field--.
