You're well on your way to making a project and setting up tasks! You know who's responsible for completing the work, but there are also other people on your team who need to contribute. What now?
Setting up a clear division of responsibilities in Keela is easy and simple. Using Assignees and Followers, you can keep track of what you need to do without losing the ability to track important tasks that you're involved with.
Assignees are people who are primarily responsible for the task. You can designate one team member as the responsible party.
The Task widget on your Dashboard will display the tasks for which you are the designated Assignee.
A Follower is an interested party who may want to stay up to date about a particular task but is not directly responsible for completing the task itself.
You can have an unlimited number of followers on a single task.
Tip: Don't have an Assignee or any Followers in mind? You can create an unassigned and unfollowed task. Simply leave the fields blank and delete any existing information in them when creating the task.
If you need to add (or change) the assignee or followers, you can do this any time by clicking on the gear icon in the Task title bar, selecting 'Edit', and changing the people involved.
