We know how important it is to be able to keep track of your projects and collaborate with team members. That's why Keela has a Projects tool to help you manage your projects and collaborate with your team.
Our Projects feature allows you to keep track of your projects, related tasks, and who is working on what. Gone are the days of endless email threads! With Keela, you can access a range of tools to help you seamlessly manage your projects.
The Projects tool is always accessible from the left sidebar on your screen and is there to help you manage your projects, coordinate project tasks and milestones, and collaborate more effectively with your team.
You can always access your projects by going to the sidebar on the left of your screen.
From here, you can easily create a new project or access a pinned project with a quick click. You can also pin on-going or important projects under the Projects section so that they're always visible and simple to access.
Navigating the Projects tool
When you click on Projects in the sidebar of Keela, you'll open up your main Projects screen. Here, you can find a list of your active projects, along with their deadlines and priority ratings, and different options to manage them.
From this main screen, you can create new Projects, as well as filter your project list based on completion status.
Need to create a new Project quickly or export a list of project tasks? The Projects title bar provides options to quickly add a new Project, as well as to export a list of any or all of your project tasks.
View a specific Project
Simply click on the name of a Project to view it. All of your project tasks, discussions, and files are kept here at your fingertips!
Here, you can view a summary list of your Tasks and the deadlines, assignees, statuses, and management options for each. You can also add new Tasks, edit or search existing ones, and filter your list based on task status and assignee from this screen.
In the title bar, you have the option to pin that project to the sidebar, manage the project and its members, edit project information, and even export the project's tasks.
How can the Projects tool be used?
There are different ways that you can use Projects and its tools to empower you and your team. Try out our Projects feature, and explore how you can use it to manage your future projects!
Here are some ways that you could use Projects:
Manage a project or program
Do you have a program or project that you're working on? The days of searching through email chains and digging for files are over! Now, you can keep everything in one easily accessible place.
Organize a new workshop series, set up a field trip, or coordinate a meal program. You can also use Projects to manage short-term tasks or a multi-step project -- like transitioning over to Keela!
When you set up a new Project, you can keep track of the tasks you need to complete without losing sight of your deadline. Create a new Project, make a list of tasks, set deadlines, assign team members, and prioritize! Whether your project is big or small, we make it easy to keep track of who is working on what.
Develop grant applications and administer funding
We know that funding plays a big role for nonprofits, and Keela has you covered! Funding and grant applications can take a lot of work, and we want to make it easier to keep track of those deadlines so that you can get back to serving your communities.
Monitor grant deadlines, assign your applications to different writers, and keep track of your conversations and files. Simplify the grant writing process and make funding development easier!
With Projects, you can make grant writing simpler and less time-consuming. Set up reminders and get notifications for upcoming application deadlines, store and look up previous applications, and even break up your tasks and assign each piece to a different member. No more scrambling to write something up at the last minute or forgetting to hand in a end-of-funding report!
Plan and manage an event
Events can be a great (and fun) way to engage with your members, volunteers, team, and community -- but they can also be difficult and time-consuming to plan and run. With Keela, you can break down those tasks, communicate logistics, and make planning for that event a little easier so you can have more face-to-face time.
Plan a drop-in breakfast, organize a community education workshop, or host a fundraising evening.
When you organize an event using Projects, you can keep track of your targets and collaborate with your team. Set a deadline, identify tasks and critical milestones, track attendees, and manage staffing all in one place. Event planning sometimes feels endless, but our tools can make all that a little less overwhelming.
Track progress towards a target
Workflow. Pipelines. Deadlines. More deadlines! We all have things to do and targets to meet -- but sometimes, there's so much to do and only so many hours. Things get lost, deadlines go by, and action items are forgotten. We don't think it has to be that way anymore.
Set a target, keep your team moving, manage volunteer tasks, and collect your deliverables in one place.
When you use Projects to manage your workflow, you can keep track of what needs to be done by when. Designate a Project administrator, add contributors, set up tasks, track your progress, and hit those targets!
